AFELI (Entrepreneurship, Leadership & Innovation Fellowship) is a program designed to equip scholarship alumni, like YTB graduates and other International scholarships holders worldwide, with entrepreneurial and leadership skills to create social and economic impact.
The fellowship is open to scholarship alumni, who are passionate about entrepreneurship, leadership, and social impact.
AFELI provides a 6-month intensive program that includes Entrepreneurial intensive training, mentorship, financial support, and networking opportunities to help participants launch and grow their ventures or business ideas.
Yes! Selected entrepreneurial projects will have the opportunity to receive seed funding, along with access to resources and expert guidance.
NO! the program is online (virtually hosted) during the programs delivery
Applications can be submitted through our official website. Applications start on 8/06/2025 – 8/07/2025 as deadlines.

1. Applicants must be a final-year students, recent graduates, Freshmen (First year Students) or alumni who have completed their undergraduate or graduate studies.
2. Applicants must be a scholarship or was a scholarship holder in any part of the world.
3. Applicants must have degree in any field for ONLY graduates .
4. Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in entrepreneurship and a desire to create social or economic impact in their communities.
5. Applicants must have an entrepreneurial idea or project that you wish to develop during the fellowship.
6. Applicants must have an idea that is solving one of the (Sustainable Development Goals )17 SDGs
7. Applicants must be 18-35 years old at the time of application.
8. Open to international students worldwide, particularly from developing countries.
9. Applicants must be committed to full-time participation in the program, which spans 6 months.
10. Applicants must be fluency in English or a team member who knows both (written and spoken) as required, for the program and training materials.
11. Applicants should be in the early stages of their business idea or venture (e.g., idea generation, business planning, or early prototyping).
12. Priority will be given to applicants from regions with significant barriers to entrepreneurship, such as Africa, South Asia, Eastern Europe, South America and Middle East.
The AFELI Fellowship is conducted in English, ensuring accessibility for participants from diverse backgrounds and allowing for broader networking and collaboration opportunities. If you don’t speak English, we recommend finding a partner who understands English to support you throughout the program.
NO! AFELI is designed to help alumni, recent graduates, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students from just an idea, starting from zero to hero to develop entrepreneurial skills, and execute their ideas after the program.
